We
have facilities to provide anaesthesia for various surgical specialties
and superspeciality procedures like Neuro-anaesthesia, Cardiac
anaesthesia, Paediatric and Urogenital surgery.
We
carry out a training programme for MBBS doctors from PCMS in life saving
anaesthetic skills.
The
department also manages two intensive care units. Both ICU together has
13 beds. One professor and two associate professors are posted in the
ICU along with 7 residents at a time.
We
have a pain and palliative care services for both inpatients and
outpatients. It caters to patients with acute and chronic pain
including painless delivery. Dr. Narjeet is looking after the pain and
Palliative care services along with one assistant professor and a
resident.
We
also run a Pre-Anaesthetic clinic for pre-anaesthetic work up of
patients who have to undergo surgical procedures. |
