The Medical Informatics department runs and supports the Hospital Information and Management Systems which helps is recording all financial and management information and generates report to help the management in taking decision.
The Internet lease line to the hospital provides internet facility to the Staff, Faculty and Student including subscription to journals, and mail servers Because of the high speed internet it is possible to provide streaming videos of procedure and video conference. Even though the maintenance of IT equipment is house, the staff, Faculty and student take advice from the department about any problems they face with their PC / LAPTOP etc.
The Department Maintains the Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for the HOSPITAL providing online Digital Radiological images to consultants for diagnosis.
We are also managing the recording the security cameras in the hospital. This has helped in reducing theft and vandalism in the hospital
