:: In Patients ::

There is a 56-bedded ward, which caters exclusively to the paediatric age group
(0 to 19 years). A wide variety of patients are admitted and taken care of including premature sick newborns outside. There is a special pre term room and neonatal room equipped with all the facilities and equipments required for their care.

An intensive care area equipped with the latest ventilators and monitors is available to take care of the very serious patients including newborns.

The main ward has separate rooms for children with respiratory infections, diarrhea, infectious diseases (like typhoid etc.) and isolation room so that there is no cross infection between children with different problems. There are 2 separate isolation rooms also available for every infectious patient’s. In addition, there is a room for non-infectious cases.

Patients with all types of illness are looked after by a dedicated team of staff members. Out born babies requiring specialized care are looked after in separate units and all neonatal intensive car facilities like exchange transfusion, ventilatory support and monitoring are provided. Doctors are physically present in the ward for all 24 hrs. of the day looking after all serious patients.

A separate milk room, which provides clean milk, water & ORS to the patients is available round the clock.
