The Department of
Surgery came into inception in 1955. Dr. Forrest Cary Eggleston was the
founder head of the department. Under his able leadership, the
department flourished and grew to its present stature. He groomed the
department from 1955 to 1983. Presently the department of Surgery under
the tutelage of Dr. Navneet Choudhary, one of the students of Dr. F.C.
Eggleston is setting new milestones in all the fields of surgery.
