After his graduation and post graduation at CMC, Ludhiana, he did his DM
at CMC, Vellore under the able guidance of Dr Mammen Chandy (who is the
father of haematology in India) and Dr Alok Srivastava.
At CMC, Ludhiana, he took over from the legacy of Dr Crowel and Dr Anna
Mani who pioneered in this field in the 80s and 90s. Currently he is the
Associate Professor & Head, Clinical Haematology, Haemato-Oncology and
Bone Marrow Transplant Unit which was started in September 2007.
