Nursing at C.M.C.
advocates and supports (w) holistic and multidimensional care of human
beings. Spiritual and religious needs of students and clients are given
priority here. Traditionally, we start our day with devotion in the
Chapels/ all departments and wards. Every month an institutional day of
prayer is observed and God’s Blessings are invoked before every
program/special event. Students have freedom to attend various
activities of Churches/ sponsoring bodies and religious places of
workshop.
Bible studies, prayer and youth activities are organized by the
Evangelical Nurses Fellowship (ENFI) team on every Thursday in the
hostel. Fellowship department conducts moral educational classes and
organize retreats for freshers.
In February, a fun filled trip to the foot hills of scenic Himalayas (Dehradun)
and a retreat for nursing students was organized by the Emmanuel
Hospital Association (EHA). Students and senior nurses attended the CMAI
Conference at national level. The skit and posters of our students were
well appreciated. |
