The Department make
contacts with Government and Social agencies in connection with the
patient treatment and rehabilitation, social workers are actively
engaged to practice social case work, social group work, community
organization to deal with the area of practical problem of admission and
stay during OPD treatment, interpretation, emotional support,
socio-economic study and investigation, counselling, follow-up for test
investigations, help with financial needs. Vocational guidance and
shelter are also provided. |
