Specialized procedures done in the department of orthodontics include alignment of crowded teeth, closure of gaps, growth modification procedures which include restriction or enhancement of jaw size in the early growing stage of the child, surgical procedures to correct the size of the jaw after completion of growth, correction of clefts in the lip and palate.
