Dr Jeyaraj D Pandian is a Professor of Neurology and the Principal/Dean from Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana, Punjab, India. Dr Pandian is the current Vice-President of World Stroke Organisation. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Fellow of Royal College of Physicians, Fellow of European Stroke Organization and Fellow of World Stroke Organisation (WSO).
Dr Pandian was the past Chair of World Stroke Campaign International Working Group of WSO. He is also in the editorial board of International Journal of Stroke, Journal of Stroke and European Stroke Journal. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of CHRISMED J Health Research and J Stroke Medicine. He has been a member of WSO Policy and Research Committees.
Dr Pandian was the Co-chair of the World Stroke Congress 2016 held in Hyderabad, India. He has served one term in EC of Indian Stroke Association and serves as President-elect of ISA.
Dr Pandian has made significant contribution to stroke care services, epidemiology, and thrombolysis in low and middle-income countries. He is the National PI for the newly created Indian Stroke Clinical Trial Network (INSTRuCT). He has 181 peer-reviewed publications (Citations 22652; h-index 33; i10 index-59).
